And since it appears to be a vertical problem and not a horizontal one, the extent of areas affected should be quite narrow.If you're concerned, then you might have to cut in several inspection holes in the drywall to check.

Find a stud to screw the rod into if you can, or if you can't consider opening the wall and adding a horizontal 2x4 brace to screw it to (depending on how much you want to harden the unit) then blend the opening back with the wall.

Depending on how bad is the foundation state (how many inches you have to correct), is very possible the sewer line will disconnect/break in the horizontal portions.
