Yes, the vinyl plank (TrafficMaster grip strip planks) over carpet does sink a bit (like carpet, but it bounces up), so it's unexpected, but not unpleasant.

I would have to agree that the flip market is always tough in Syracuse, we never really got any of the runup (which seems ok now as we have largely avoided any crash)- so flips here really depend on a tight grip on the local and micromarkets (say TIpp Hill vs.
