In Florida, there is no statutory provision governing non-renewal notice except for when the landlord requires the tenant to give notice of intent to vacate, in which case, the landlord has a reciprocal duty.

One positive to note, during Covid when tenants stopped paying their rent ( and the government supported them in doing so) it was great to have section 8/ at least I got the minimum amount to pay the mortgage!
