We have rented through VRBO in many states and cities including CA, NV and FL. plus we've been all over Mexico and use VRBO almost exclusively.

Hello BP Community, My name is Gary Waddle, and I live in Carlsbad New Mexico.

I am currently working in a full-time job at a multifamily fund in Mexico City.I've been listening to the podcast for about 3 weeks, taken a few notes, and now I'm currently at show 39 (my favorite so far was show 37 with Aaron Mazzrillo).My girlfriend and I are looking forward to make a long term career out of RE investing and we think flipping houses is a good starting point.

I pulled a chart from ppic.org that shoes 27% of the CR goes to CA.  23% Colorado, 17% AZ, 10% utah, 9% Mexico, 5% NM, and 2% Nevada.  

I'm currently thinking on investing on rental properties in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

It is a common route for those traveling as far south as San Diego and even across the border into Mexico, certainly to LA.
