I recently relocated from Houston, Texas and now embracing exciting new opportunities in the Colorado Springs area. 

Which means, that money you threw out today from your paycheck, could be used to have those travel (or other) experiences now, when you're healthier and more mobile.I could go on.

Good morning BP Forum, this is my first post so don't go easy and give it to me straight (this seems to be the norm here which living in the Northeast we embrace). 

Sure, I miss Genesee Beer, the Distillery, Sticky Lips, Amerks games and all the people walking in Brighton on the Sabbath, but juice is worth the squeeze regarding moving from Roch to Raleigh.A few pros:  (1)  Lower State Income taxes, (2)  Healthier and more diverse job opportunities (higher pay and opportunities for advancement as a whole), (3)  BBQ - I won't step foot in my favorite BBQ joint the Dinosaur in Rochester since that Commie George Soros purchased a stake. 

Often with the lower end tenants it's a much cleaner and healthier relationship both ways when they're dealing with a property manager.

Worst case, you embrace the Dark Side of land-lording and retain the services of an eviction lawyer.

I'm sure others will embrace a value-add property, will happily put in sweat-equity, will do the interior repaint with their free weekends, that just isn't me.
