It certainly beats the crap out of working an additionl 40 hrs/week to gain overtime salary.Maybe it's more like this-- it's better ROI to put your cash in a money market account than keep it under your mattress; but it's better to put it into an index fund than a money market; better still to select a prize-winning stock; better still to correctly pick hedge funds/explosive growth companies, etc., etc.

The risks he points to are:1) Borrowing Too Heavily2) Selling your property too quickly3) Using ARMs to get a cheap loan - using adjustable mortgages in a rising interest rate environment is a dangerous formula4) Not having a plan for financial emergencies such as medical emergencies5) Skipping a property inspection because you just have to get the deal.

I'm still very small time but getting there. just wanted to offer this small back ground because it helped me substantially when i bought my first house.i should point something out... credit cards can be dangerous for some .... i used mine maybe ONCE a month. by a new hat OR video game, OR DVD, or 1 other thing that is cheap. when the $25 bill came in, i paid it off every month. don't put your trip to vegas on this card for your senior trip :protest:
