I have seen cases where when I was assembling commercial land for development  and although per the contract the buyer (developer) was due the money the seller spent it or would not give it back.

I agree that the ready-to-assemble wood cabinets from the Chinese vendors do tend to have quite a bit of grain and color variation, but I'm amazed at the price for solid wood with plywood boxes.

It took way too long to assemble though - maybe 3 or 4 hours with all the rubber seals and frame assembly
