You can simply build a relationship with a great Real Estate agent or sign up for Propstream.  

I pay for internet for the whole building but I'll split the charge between units and charge each tenant double my cost. 

For example, it is not unusual for me and my business partner to buy 4-unit buildings for about $250k and be able to rent them out for $4,000+/mo. 

I'm just beginning but am considering a bigger commitment in the next five years or so by accessing some or even all retirement funds to buy a building (I'm sure people have thoughts on whether or not that is a good idea!).

If it could even break even, I'd be fine not cash flowing as long as I was building equity.

Hello Mike, Syracuse and surrounding area is benefitting from an influx of tech companies and a huge chip manufacturing company, Micron, which is building a $100 billion fab over the next 20 years. 

Hello Mike, It is nearly impossible to answer this question without taking a deep dive on the numbers of each but often times in expensive markets like Seattle the cost of construction is so high that it doesn't make sense to tear it down unless you can build something way bigger/nicer.

Does this matter if you're not optimizing for building a ton of wealth to pass onto kids?
