For a Regulation A+ offering, you are not supposed to invest more than 10% of your net worth outside your primary residence if you are not accredited. 

Then again, if you’re talking about a mortgage on your personal residence, and you live in a state with an unlimited homestead exemption for creditor attachment like Texas or Florida, there’s an asset protection consideration as well.   

If you've personally seen the applications and trust what they're doing on the front end to screen these residents it seems like this is an anomaly, at least for the 38128 property.

Getting the foot in the door with a primary residence is a great way to start.

Just wondering, when you say you never put down more than 10% and other other benefits you describe, I'm assuming that's just for a house hack/primary residence?

The last thing I would do is aggressively pay off my personal residence, especially if you have a low % mortgage.
