Hi In Australia, we have a "Landlord Insurance" policy that costs approx. $250 p.a. with approx. $200 excess per claim, and covers the Landlord against Malicious Damage & Rent Default.

Of the 24 homes I built at Rand rd.. the buyers were fromTexas,,, Seattle, Australia, Beverly Hill's, Bend, Portland, Tri cities WA. , SF, LA.. etc etc. and half paid CASH... so very nice deal.People come there for the out doors  its the wind surfing capital of the west and popular world wide.. along with skiing on Hood.. bikes Fishing boating etc.. pretty neat little area..

I put a 10 (soon to be 11) camera system in my multifamily property in Akron, Ohio.I live in Australia so it's great for keeping an eye on things.I covered all exits and common areas including the car park.I bought it online from Security Camera Warehouse and installed it myself.

I noticed it was big in Australia when there a year ago & we have aging cement stucco on our home in FL.But when I started to look into it this is what I found....https://www.facworld.com/facworld.nsf/doc/stuccoso I just repair & repaint our olde cement stuff when needed.good luck
