I ordered the same book and am about 60 pages in.Contrasting Patrice's opinion, I find that the information is not logically organized (in some cases not organized at all, it seems), and that he fails to elaborate on concepts and strategies when needed, which really throws me off.

Seeking some advice as to the best way to go about the process, I have seen a couple of "schools" such as NY Real Estate Institute, Real Estate U, Real Estate Training Center..does anyone have any experience with any of these organizations and/or recommendations as to obtaining my licensing?

After we get a few more attendees I will organize something.

Also ask them if they can provide you with a good local assistance organization that assists section 8 tenants in obtaining section 8 apartments.

Alternatively are there any places I could just volunteer?

I spent several years working in volunteer work at home and abroad working very little in between.

I did some volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and they taught me how to do it.

However, if the Prop Manager of the HOA is unable to deliver - I suppose that is worrisome given they are managing the whole business... which was the topic of my post:  If the HOA managing organization can't deliver - is this a serious red flag?
