Are there any year ranges of properties that you would avoid for difficulty of updating and rehabbing, i.e. years where lead paint were issues, years where certain building materials where outlawed etc? 

. - Unit is fully updated and would need no work that the eye can see.

Granted these units were built in 1988, however they have been updated and do appraise in the 110-125k range.Question: Are others experiencing this issue and if so what have you done to address it.

Added about $2500 of our own money for very light cosmetic updates and did the work ourselves.

In the email was a link to a form where I had to fill out the information to update my account.   

You mentioned your mortgage being updated with the new cost, I'm also facing a similar issue.
