In order for us to invest, we have to have skill.

The reasons for investing in RE IMO are that it is a less efficient asset class and as such if you are a skilled investor, it is much easier to create "alpha" from investing in RE as it is investing in stocks.

I have dealt with "Jack of all trades" contractors in the past -- and while some are very good -- I think the work can suffer in some areas.I would utilize anyone would considers themselves a specialist in a particular area.. 1-2 trades tops on my next project.

I am willing to help with any grunt work locally to learn the trade.

After connecting with a few investors who seem to be where you want to be consider asking them for coffee and once there letting them know that you're eager to get involved in REI and would love to help them out (answering phones, cleaning office, some skill you have) in exchange for guidance through parts of the strategy that you're unclear on.

My natural skills are attention to detail, math, analytics and problem solving.

Hello Jay,So if you really want to know just ask the state for a written opinion.. this opened an investigation I was interviewed further and well this individual is going to need to get a license if they want to continue to make any kind of middle man fee.. who ever you want to couch it I also asked about equitable interest as many in the wholesale trade quote that one.. and that did not fly..
