With an entitled society "free" means the recipient has the "right" to get what they want the way they want it at someone else's expense.

It was exciting and stressful all the same yesterday as I was at the bank wiring $$ so I can acquire four notes in OH.  

THey aren't the cheapest, but I'm looking at the stress-free release of paying a bit more for lease ups, to not have to put on the armour to fight the nickle and dime approach of some other companies (energy better spent finding deals). 

It's time consuming and stressful.

If you are never feeling any stress I feel you are not growing. 

A couple of reasons why commissions may be higher in the US: (1) we have one of the most litigious societies in the world, and need to reserve more money for E & O insurance; and (2) we're also more geographically dispersed - I guarantee that a DFW-area Realtor drives a lot more miles than one in Tokyo or London.Legal cartel?  

People can start behaving completely different than they were just six months ago because of the financial and emotional stress it places on them.

Depending on others to manage your investments can be extreamly stressful when they let you down.

Meanwhile, at home, there's a lot to do and I'm pretty stressed about it.
