We changed the locks, painted one room, fixed a banister, and installed new smoke/carbon detectors.

One of my silver dollars still rests in its redone foundation to this day.Needless to say, I'd have jumped on the opportunity to live in one during college. 

I will collect all day, then give preference to those seeking longer-term leases (I don't tell them that, just first line is to check box if applying for 1- or 2-year lease term and also a check box as part of Other Info section for how long they plan to stay, 1 year, 2 years, 3-5 years, 5+ years, same area where I ask things like Do you smoke outside?  

and yes,  put long silver handles on those cabs.  

I try to find something in that area, then find a silver lining that will allow me to get it up to or over 2%.
