Hello BiggerPockets Community,I’m looking for advice on whether to sell or rent out an out of state investment property I am currently having renovated. 

I live in the Bay Area and I want to get into real estate, but there's just not a lot on the market right now and what is on the market is selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars over asking price.

If we were to sell, we're looking 1.2-1.5mil.Our situation is we want to purchase another property for my parents to live in - it would be 600-700k condo.

time spent selling property?

My understanding is that when renting out rooms in a primary residence, the income is classified as boarder income and isn't counted towards DTI, as outlined in Fannie Mae's guidelines(https://selling-guide.fanniemae.com/Underwriting-Borrowers/I...).

A house that is turn key that you would buy for 50k had to sell for 10 to 15k before they rehabbed it and there is profit for the flipper..

Hi Everyone,I'm playing with the idea of building a Shipping Container Home around Asheville, NC.The plan is to either hold it as an STR, or to sell it.The question I have is regarding Mortgages:* If I hold the property for STR, I will want to be able to Re-finance my money back out (BRRR Method)* If I sell it, I will want to make sure a buyer will be able to take out a mortgage for purchase. 

Is the other heir willing to receive their 50% after selling costs (commissions/title/tax/etc)?

I own a commercial land lot in Birmingham AL and I signed it over to a broker so he can list it and sell it.
