b) I've found a few of these properties and the numbers are looking promising, but if I need get a fire damage restoration company, rather than a regular construction/rehab contractor, I'm afraid that my rehab costs will shoot to the roof..is that a valid concern?

No study also indicates that BODs aren't following best practices, are potentially violating the law (depending on the state), and possibly ignoring their governing documents (many condos require themselves to have regular studies).

Knowing that it’s atypical for regular investors to liquidate REIT holdings, mainly because they pay excellent dividends, this tells me that ‘smart money’ (institutions) are likely part of the price decline of REIT shares.

Mix that with, what I consider, a poor decision that required all hosts to refund regardless of policy, and you have a lot of hosts that are doing what you say, going LTR or selling.

Just to be clear, I have been making all my regular payments and there is no lien placed on the house, so it seems like there wouldn't be any issue with the title search.

I did send an email to the contractor asking if this project could be started and I would stay with him if he can but I’m getting really nervous as this properties neighborhood has had very few rentals for a long time but I am seeing what I think are Airbnb owners starting to list their houses as a regular rental which given the current situation I get.
