The interest would be calculated Just like a traditional loan, both are simple interest....the interest for any given month is simply the outstanding balance times the interest rate divided by 12 (for 1 month of interest).  

And that doesn’t include if the borrower disputes the debt or fights the foreclosure.

As for applications I'm echoing what others have stated and apply it to rent first as that is harder for the tenant to fight should there be a dispute. 

The tenant is saying they are going to fight you for whatever reason.  

No more fighting with sealants, caulks, etc. everything is nice and smooth now. 

He may be fighting for his life, or functions to be able to live a life.   

That is a long history of hopefully outstanding management.I believe that STRs in San Diego county are high risk and that anyone planning an STR should have a back up plan. 

It sounds like this functionality just isn't worth fighting for in these software's.

Anybody had experience in fighting with city when they messed up?

It wasn't worth the fight so I let someone that knows what they're doing do it for me.
