Two questions:1) Since these are loan proceeds, not revenue or income, I imagine the LLC would not get taxed on these proceeds. 2) If the LLC turns around and distributes those loan proceeds out evenly to the 2 LLC members, how are those proceeds treated for tax purposes?

I’m imagining having to pay your handyman to literally sit in your home for up to 3 hours (or maybe more!) 

As you can imagine, prices are expensive on the east coast so I am looking to make my next investment in my home town (Milwaukee, WI).

But I'd imagine you can find what you want with more searching or checking out the places people have recommended already.

@Tim Herman after subtracting mortgage, 10k for repairs/maintenance, property tax, property insurance, licenses, and everything else you can imagine, I have a cap rate of 14%. 

I can’t imagine you want to repipe an entire house that you no longer own.

I give myself a break on this because 13 years of K-12 and a father with a PhD was a lot of brainwashing to get past alone in 4 years of college (which also offered up its own very large share of brainwashing, even to a humanities student).I can only imagine what he would have told me if I had explained I had put aside my summa cum laude degree and four full-ride offers for my own PhD and was working for maybe 10 bucks an hour to learn renovation carpentry.My hat's off the young people who are figuring the big societal lies out nowadays at a young age.
