The property needs some extensive work I plan to do when/if the tenant vacates.

However, they are booked until April 15 and they ask me to request an extension. 

I have extensive underwriting and asset management experience on large commercial deals and am now looking to build a rental portfolio,  likely starting with <10 units. 

Their properties and by extension the tenants who occupy them have a direct impact on all neighboring properties in their community.

If numbers and properties fail to add up for an extensive amount of time maybe find another backyard to play in.But most importantly remember your first property does not have to be perfect.

We rely a lot on our property manager and their extensive knowledge.

A termite company found extensive termite damage on the deck of our house and is offering to do a repair/remodel and bringing it up to code for $15,000.

Settlement date will be for 4/26/19 with a 15-day extension if there are tenants that are in the middle of completing a lease when we come to the date of the 26th.
