Your numbers have to work .plain and simple .Buying a property in a rough are just because its cheap , then fixing it up hoping it will rent isnt investing , its gambling .

We utilize the software Appfolio, however, there are so many different platforms to run checks on.  

I've been joining groups on different social media platforms pertaining to areas I'm interested in to get more of an inside story from locals.

One quick thing that gets over looked from skip traced data is that you could upload that to social platforms to create look a like audience to market through FB ads for example to those property owners and those similar to them.

That search engine sometimes lists homes as a pre-view before hitting the other MLS platforms.

If this is the case, then you are just gambling at this point.
