My personal favorite is the Black Diamond meeting in Waltham (alternates every other month with their Worcester location, next one in Waltham in May) and there is also the Boston Area REIA in Medford and the NEREIA in Chelmsford.

They hand too much control to others, like property managers, or they take a small financial loss like a month or two of lost rent like they just lost their favorite aunt, or some tenant screws them over and it's the end of the world.

If it's an after add the wires are typically in the wall and can be connected at the furnace in less time then it takes to brew a cup of coffee.Another favorite is the added value and piece of mind knowing you closed your garage when you drove off in a rush on auto pilot, rather then worrying about it all day or calling a neighbor you just look at your smart device and it will show you if the garage door is open or closed.
