My credit score is good (720ish).The problem is that my income isn't typical; the biggest problem (and why I cannot refinance my personal mortgage) is that I have no "guaranteed" income (stable income that is expected to continue).

@Ben ParrNo insurance, that's just crazy.The building loss is not your biggest risk, your biggest risk is somebody getting hurt or killed on your property and suing you for millions.If you property is low value and you're willing to take all that risk for the fire and casualty, you should at the very least get a liability policy.If you want to keep the fire and casualty insurance you can lower the premiums by raising the deductible.
