I submitted the check after their office hours and she made me sign a  holding deposit form which says I will be responsible to pay prorated rent for the time period they hold the apartment for me (max of 2 weeks, March 26th).My application was approved the next day but there were conflicts regarding some of the advertised amenties ( microwave and clubhouse) which they decided to dishonor saying the condition is as it was shown.

Hi Ashish, thanks for your reply, definitely I have to go for itemized deduction, so in my case 1098 from mortgage company has only 3 quarters of tax(2nd , 3rd and 4th) in 1098. first quarter of tax was paid by me during closing i.e. in Dec 2016, and I paid advance tax for entire year 2018 in Dec 2017, so during tax can I add all three : 1. first quarter 2017 tax paid during closing 2. 1098(it has remaining 3 quarters) and 3. 2018 tax what  I paid in advance?
