How did you navigate the compensation aspect while ensuring a successful transaction for all parties?

Those that respond “$0” or something ridiculous, you can request income documentation from them to justify.Don’t be afraid to share with them how much your property taxes & Insurance increased and that YOU cannot afford to absorb them.ALWAYS get an increase or something of value annually or tenants will start thinking they should never have an increase, making future increases that much more difficult to negotiate.

I’ve negotiated what I think is a great price from his original asking price of $135k in order to ensure a lucrative ARV.

Like you, I looked around to try to find some information on whether or not this could be a successful use of the space.  

Where the synergy came in was businesses where the business owner also owned the real property; real estate that is also a business such as a marina or event center; and businesses that operated in leased property where a real estate license is required to negotiate a lease assumption or transfer.  

The money collected will be reinvested in growing and maintaining a healthy community environment therein or for the same purpose yet to expand successful co-living environment model elsewhere.Thank you in advance for your advice, comment(s), etc.
