John Prucha Taxes for out of state LLCs
28 September 2020 | 8 replies
@John PruchaThe unique thing about Ohio taxation is that the state has a lot of "locality returns".In addition to filing an Ohio state tax return, you may need to file a city tax return.Since you mentioned you have an LLC with more than 1 member - a partnership return is required to be filed.Partnership returns are due on March 15 with the ability to extend to September 15.One positive for you is that the partnership may not be required to file a Colorado partnership tax return if there is no property, payroll or sales within the state(it looks like all the activity is within Ohio).Good luck in your search for a CPA.
