Being a California resident can be a trick when navigating LLCs with due to the franchise tax.

Instead of focusing energy on finding finders and navigating shaky situations I would suggest you invest your energy on learning the new laws and getting the proper documents and systems in place to execute marketing campaigns to find the investment dollars you need.  

However, knowing all the different ways to exit from a deal can increase profitability, as you will know how to navigate even the most marginal deals.

Some pointers for you: The "Learn" link across the top navigation bar has lots of great info, and so do BP members!

There's one under the resources tab of the blue navigation bar you can check out.

I am writing about this on BP because I just found out about it and there are bound to be some tax wizards on here that know about about the game theory needed to navigate our ridiculous tax code.  

I do however plan on spending some time navigating this site, reading/watching your tutorials with the hope of eventually graduating to the level of being worthy to expect contact with colleagues and peers in my immediate geographic area, or virtually.
