I'm considering getting a Texas Real Estate License before I start REI.I've been studying/investigating, going to auctions, taken a few classes on Foreclosure and Tax sales for the last 7 months and have decided to start with a couple REO properties as rentals.Financing them will not be an issue.I would like to know the pros and cons from others who have become an agent for their own benefit. thanx so much for any input.

I would investigate if someone is on this thread is actively looking in SM to invest.

So I suppose the key is to be more active and obviously investigate someone's track record.

I guess this is uncharted territory, so I will investigate lenders and see if there is any way to do this.

I've been investigating Israeli Tama-38 projects lately, and I'm curious to know if anyone else has ever invested in one and if so what their thoughts were.

I also plan on talking with the police once the lights are fixed just so they're aware, although I don't think they'll proactively investigate.

I'm sure thumbtack has some sort of complaint system, and investigate if this contractor you hired has a contractors license..tell them to go ahead with the liens (it's usually a way to try to scare you to pay the ridiculous invoice..) you have proof on the agreed price, and proof that the unit isn't working!

We called our friends at the vice squad and they came to investigate which probably took them more trips to the parlor than necessary but they were able to confirm what was going on.

I need to see the inside and investigate further so that I can really see how they compare.
