Are there areas I should focus on?

I haven't gone all out and really dissected a lot of states to potentially invest in, but since Vegas is close, rated #1 for growth as per Realtor.com and now has 2 professional sports teams, I figure the upside is still in tact.I'm looking for guidance on what zip codes I should focus on for SFR and MF either for the BRRRR strategy or turnkey for cashflow. 

All of my education, research and experience have led me toward commercial real estate investing, with a specific focus on Multi-Family.

Pick a market first so you can focus all your efforts.

I'm more focused on the numbers after the first year while I'm living there. 

For most tax planning, you will be focused on federal tax laws anyways. 

They focus on newer buildings with higher ceilings that most tenants want.

Just be a little aware that BP is US focused.

I also sold my properties in WI and IL and started focusing on Atlanta as I wanted to have direct flight from SFO.
