Something else you may want to look into, if you did decide you want to unload some of those SFRs and have a good amount of appreciation on them, is a 1031 Tax Deferred Exchange.

At this point I do not, but am certainly open to hearing why others do accept cryptocurrency.This morning's report of a major "hack" (see http://money.cnn.com/2018/06/11/investing/coinrail-hack-bitcoin-exchange/index.html) has me wondering how landlords can protect their income if paid this way.

My goal is to network with as many individuals as possible, whether that be agents, lenders, investors, etc. to build my base of trustworthy, honest professionals to bounce ideas off of and gain insight.

But that same situation does not apply when contributing a property into an entity after a 1031 exchange is complete.

The one possible exception to this might be if you traded real estate for real estate and were able to do a 1031 exchange.
