In fact, if you specifically WANTED to keep them , then in that case you were obligated to inform the buyer in the listing, and in the contract of your intent to keep those fixtures.Refrigerators are sometimes fixtures in higher end houses such as what you have described.

The plan would be to install it so you can mix cold water into the hot water line coming out of the hot water heater to reduce the temperature of the water going to your fixtures in the house from the 150 degrees coming out of the hot water heater.
