Nor do I play one on TV ;)I just have some experience in banking where we ran into situations where custodians weren't allowed to do certain things with these types of checks because the money is technically the child's and doesn't belong to the custodian.

I see that the author chose probably the most heart-wrenching example he could find to make his point.The story would have fallen apart if he had written about the family that bought a $4000 TV and therefore couldn't pay the rent.Of the Section 8 housing people I have had as renters, I had one that managed their household well.

I do like that idea.I was already thinking of including a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall to give it an edge (it's a trend that student rentals include one in the area).Do you usually include all the utilities in one bill?
