That doesn't mean you will get your issue resolved but the lawyer may give you options which you can then chose to have him handle or not.

The mortgage broker doing over a 100 million a year in loans with them they do not want to lose that business so will generally work to try to resolve all loan issues and occasionally grant favors or a concession.   

I’m not sure there is to much that scares me off, but you need consider your time and costs it will take to get those issues resolved.

Glad you got it resolved, we handle lots of similar cases in Texas, but a settlement is always better than going to a jury.

BUT...be sure to research the HOA of any condo/home as many were not run properly for a long time and have had financial and legal issues that may not be resolved yet.
