In this case this is multi million dollar company with tons of oversight , but you still are not comfortable paying for something you don't have in your possession )  I am sure you know what happens next .

I purchased  a property in Dec 2019 and legally took possession in January of 2020.

The buyer gets possession of the house, but doesn't get a deed.

The entire point of a lease is that the landlord is ceding control and possession of his property to another.

By collecting the rents from these tenants this allowed us to understand their situation and work with them and their relatives in regards to paying their rent and we never had a problem where a tenant passed away and did not pay their rent until their possessions were moved out.
