Keep in mind that a bad GC can cause you all kinds of headaches from disappearing materials to subs putting liens on your property from not being paid/being underpaid.

If you are not comfortable with your current debt load I doubt that acquiring more units and going into more debt will put your mind at ease at all.

As a listing agent I Never allowed this.....too many “buyers”, after bank approval in 60 days or so “changed their mind”, found a better deal” “yada yada yada”.

Questions that come to mind are: If I bought seven months ago, where would I be today.
