I have a GC that has built multiple houses for me personally to live in.

Like @Ko Kashiwagi stated above, if you are planning on living in the property, you can go in with as little as 3.5%.

It's like living in the Soviet Block in 1970.I advise against investing in HOAs because there are too many problems.

We could veer out that way, my partner lives there.

Hello everyone,I recently purchased a property that I am going to househack then rent out after a year or two of living there.

So, if the wood floors are in really nice condition in a living room I might refinish them but more often the floors are pretty beat up and I will use LVP.

Winston-Salem has a cost of living ranked as 38/50th most expensive in NC, which means as far as NC is concerned it's pretty agreeable in pricing. 

If the loft area reasonably accommodates both pieces of furniture and still provides a living area that flows, why not?
