It is encouraging as I believe that eventually this will result in more first time homebuyers that are fed up with paying the level of finances for a property that is not theirs.

oh ok cool. that's encouraging to hear. i have no undergrad debt so the thought of it is intimidating especially when i hear about people not being able to pay it back.

I actually busted out a blog post last weekend to show my buddy where the cash sales are.He's looking to buy in the 450k-550k range and has lost 12 offers to cash offers - all greater Sacramento/Hwy 50 Corridor.Also, I might encourage you, Jared, to visit the NorCal REIA meeting.

Also - I highly encourage you to set up some Keyword Alerts for some of the topics you are knowledgeable about, or other topics that interest you (like wholesale, Houston, Rehab, etc ) so you'll be notified that those words were mentioned in the forums and can jump into those conversations!

Bear in mind that what Rachel H. wrote about and provided links to is proposed legislation - not law.If you want to become law, You need to get involved by writing your Senators and your Representatives and encouraging others to do the same.
