You aren't allowed to collect double rent for the same time period.

Will I have to pay double taxes though?

Fast forward I worked in sales for a short time and then accepted a role as service manager for a local body shop and my income nearly doubled.

By that I mean charge an above market rent during the period you agree to and then double or triple it if the seller fails to vacate on time. 

I am thinking to have a contract 1)I give up all future rent but also the liability (tenants are month to month)2) he would put money in escrow account 3) do a double closing in seven months Any ideas?
