The market is appreciating because so many northerners are moving here and land is limited near downtown and the beaches due to the natural landscape with all the rivers and marshes.

I don't know the demographics for those areas well but seems like Pittsfield is the biggest population center so if that can't sustain one trying to make it live by drawing from even more sparsely populated rural places to keep it alive isn't a great bet.If you are willing to travel a little more for it and want to draw better the closer you get to Springfield the better you are likely to do.

What is the demographic make up?  

The house is in excellent shape with new roof, well, new garage, hot water heater, furnace and it's on a nice lot with nice landscaping on a nice street.  

I am doing research on certain neighborhoods around my target areas of population growth, demographics, etc.

Our demographic wants a home not a house but since they are so transient they don't want to buy.There are two sides to every story but we have been super successful with this model.
