Your physical image probably matters a little more to consumers, and your track record and industry reputation probably matter a lot more to investors.Looking clean and smelling inoffensive are good baselines no matter how casual you are at the moment. 

Lol the camera guys were not happy about the smells they were exposed to that day, lol.

My tenants had multiple pet cats which had left a real strong smell and  odor in the house.

The whole place smells like cigarette smoke. 

Staging, looked great, smelled great, on a lockbox etc.

I've seen work from a few companies around here when things were being done for a local body shop I used to work for, but I didn't pay too close attention.

People smell vulnerability, and it is a select few that will let it slide - humans are predators, and if you give off a weak impression you are going to be taken down the road. 

I have full mobility of my body and health, I dont have many responsibilities like kids, wife, employees etc.
