Too many weak properties, your body isn't holding out, minimal support in a pinch from your wife or other handymen you know?

Also, if I've never worked with the contractor or if I don't have a solid referral from someone I trust, then I will be sure to research references, check on insurance standing and valid licensing, everything that will give me peace of mind, as well as show that I'm serious and I won't be taken advantage of.The other thing I will do is make sure they don't have an opportunity to put a builders lien on my property.From what I've learned recently this can be avoided in some instances. 

I've door knocked alot of houses, worked with some databases and worked with a lot of builders to work my leads. 

I am under contract with DR Horton, the national no.1 builder.

Just because he did not pull permits does not mean he was trying to do something wrong, he can be a solid knowledgeable builder and have the knowledge and experience to do his duties well with no over site.

I had no problem acquiring renovation/builders insurance but now that I have it completed I have some insurances not willing to insure an older home.

However, due to rapidly escalating costs of buildable lots, the demand has been spreading outwards as small builders search for cheaper lots to build on.In that regard, it’s not a matter of whether the house is old or new.
