Multi-family definitely appeals, just not for house hacking.

The FHA loan idea is very appealing due to the low money down and would allow for the possibility of an additional investment and/or money to reinvest in the property.

Should I bring this property to the same person that I had my taxes appealed?

Most of the investors that are looking for flips that appeal to most buyers in the $600k ARV range are willing to take profits of $45k (7.5%) as they play the volume game.

And crank up that curb appeal to a ridiculous level. 

I know that normally only applies to very wealthy families or investors, but I could imagine the concept could appeal to some. 

I would encourage you to make them look less like shipping containers and more like "regular" self storage, though, both to improve the perception of your clients and to heighten the curb appeal of the facility.

Also last tax appeal for south suburbs was fall of 2017, which means you have to wait until fall 2020 to file appeal.

In my area it can be done with $10-12k maybe even lessThe more we talk about it the less appealing holding onto this one sounds.
