Cory,I grew up just a little south of you in Harrisonburg, VA, but now I'm living in the frozen tundra of Minnesota.

I grew up in Findlay as well - moved out of there a couple years ago.

I started my landlording journey by investing in Erie (I grew up there so I know the area well).

I grew up here and am also a local lender in the area.

I grew up here in Cleveland, still live in Cleveland and lend in Cleveland.

In the slums where I grew up I felt like english was my second language. 

@Jonathan Greene I would argue that if one lives somewhere but grew up somewhere else, spent a good amount of time somewhere else, or is knowledgeable of an area outside of where they live and has team members they trust in said area, and the numbers make sense why not invest in said area?

I grew up here and have wanted to own real estate for a while.

I have 14-doors there, having lived in Detroit Metro from 2017-2022 (also grew up in Michigan man moons ago).My goal was to generate enough monthly cash flow so that our family could move BACK to California without changing our lifestyle.
