I have read mixed reviews as to what I can ask the prospect; if you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated! 

My family has an extensive portfolio of SFH in the DFW metroplex and has seen the property taxes go up over 100% across the whole portfolio in the last 3 years and it’s no end to the increases in sight.

Unless you get the owner / Pay the owner to sign something that says they arent going to reclaim the property. 

You are allowed to contact them up to 18 months later.

Go do the job yourself, go find a market and find a house.

With the numbers you posted about your business I assume you could get some pretty good financing to grow your business, FYI.Last point, buying a $200k property probably would not be the best. 

If I found myself out of work I would consider co-hosting to the pay the bills. 

Need someone with experience and boots on the ground to manage the process: advertise, show, vet buyers, manage closing paperwork. 

My tenants called the City to try and get it adjusted, and they pushed it onto me.How would you handle the situation?
