At least thats my advice.I truly believe that the people that are picking up houses atthese prices are really going to make a generational changein their finances that most of us wouldn't have the opportunityto do any other way.To me, real estate investing is one of the few remaining "blue-collar" ways to get ahead financially.

I'm really amazed at how long interest rates have stayed so low and how low home prices have remained.

I also agree that one property would not constitute a blight if the physical condition remains the same.And where the venture may argue the loan is only worth 80% of the collateral value, using secondary market assuptions without mortgage insurance, many loans have been made over 100% LTV.

Generally speaking, the longer the funds will remain in the Roth, and the higher the amount of return, the more likely you are to see an increase in the amount of after-tax spendable money in your plan. 

Then at the end of the month transfer whatever remaining balance you are comfortable with to your savings.

I cannot afford the renovations that had to be done to my home and more work remains.

Smart people have done smart things and have remained poor.
