No ability to advertise the property.

Thankfully, I did not sign up for the guru packages that were advertised, but did meet some really nice people who are interested in the business. 

For example, I often see tax services on second floors...so, focus advertising or networking at local university with accounting program OR contact HR Block corporate and find the department or people at Block, that helps franchisee open up locations and let them know about your available space...more than likely they will have a broker that helps them and will direct you there, but networking with that broker could lead to a very profitable partnership.Basically, figure out the business that can work there and then use common sense to find sources or connections to those types of business people.

Now to the craziness.We first attempted to obtain a conventional mortgage because the home was advertised as “passable” for inspection purposes.  

If our intentions are made clear, we have the proper contracts, and we don't advertise with bandit signs/fb/or craigslist, are we still operating legally in FL ??

Also, most likely you’ll be by a base, advertise for tenants on Formilitarybyowner.com.

If your place isn’t renting advertise it like hell or reduce the price or both.

Also, have advertising $$$ saved up beyond your living expenses. 

Also, if anyone has recommendation for advertising and lead generation on new clients for this sort of business, I’d be grateful! 

There are strict advertising rules on the forums so anyone who can do this work for you won't be able to comment here.
