We’ve been concentrating on the main living space upstairs at this point.

It will also depend on if you do residential commercial like apartment buildings vs. retail space (warehouses, plazas, gas stations).

The property is all zoned residential and had a single family house, 2 small apartments, and 2 good sized auto shops with office space.

It seems overpriced compared to comps but this particular property has a lot size of 1 acre and they were looking to maybe sell it to be used as a commercial space.

I am actually wondering if the lender I'm using is using this bank of the internet loan and just marking it up, because it required me having a costco executive membership.

I actually installed a 12x12 tile over the burn mark rather than replacing the small counter top. 

You can even diversify across asset classes - think MF, self-storage, mobile home parks, office space, etc - AND geographic location.One limiting factor though is whether you are accredited or not.
