If it’s a simple assignment, as others have said, it will come out at some point in the process but don’t make a big deal out of it if they are making more than you expected or think they should.

I've decided to refocus my efforts into something that is more physical, hands on, and a potential future career for myself & family.

So in areas like this can they still be hands off if I hire property management to take care of that?

You have to be in front of them at all times - lots of shaking hands and kissing babies.

If you watch Glenn Garry Glen ross the movie you will see how they handed the leads out.. 

I used TripAdvisor for awhile and got a handful of bookings through them, but their calendar has a tendency NOT to sync with the others, and I had two double-bookings in one week, for which they charged me $150 each when I had to cancel the bookings. 

If I could turn back the hands of time and known then what I know now, I might have made a different decision.Mostly at this point, I have learned my lesson.
