@Michael Gatti hey mikeI'm very positive on philly right now myselfSome great gentrifying neighborhoods ( point breeze, port Richmond, brewerytown)I personally happen to like port Richmond and plan on picking up a few units in that neighborhood as the progression is heading up the river from Fishtown and nolibsIf you need any help feel free to reach out to me as I've spent a good amount of time in that area

But I'd say if you are looking for a single family home to live in you will probably be interested in a few of the areas in the valley with better neighborhoods than where you will be looking for typical rentals.
