The Panhandle strives on STR, so the risk of rules and regulations against it is very minimal vs a city that has industry also. ( Atlanta, LA, etc) Best of luck to you!

I have a great rehab estimation tool and get decent ballpark figures, but in the current market, a lot of the highly rated general contractors are fully booked and investors are last in the pecking order compared to retail customers or large developers.

With this being said, my boyfriend is an industrial designer so he naturally gravitates to the modern look. 

As someone who is interested in learning, exploring, and generating a name worth having in the industry, I would take the opportunity to participate in a deal with someone else’s funding, even if it meant my financial gain slight. 

From the little bit I know from reading about start-ups, it is very tough to break into that ring without some help or knowing people in the industry.
